Our Community Pottery Studio at The Clay Stables is now open and ready to welcome potters of all levels from Mansfield and surrounding district.
Handbuilding basics workshop
In this six week adult class, you will explore form and surface through basic hand building and sculpting techniques, such as pinch construction, coil-building, slab building and various decorative methods. Learn about the different stages of clay, and enjoy the process from transforming a ball of clay into your own unique ceramic piece to take home. This course is designed for beginners or those who want the re-acquaint themselves with the process of hand building. Note that Membership is for those over 18.
The Clay Stables Open Hours
The Clay Stables community pottery studio is now open for Members to utilise the studio and equipment.
Studio Open Hours:
Wednesdays 12 – 3pm: 7 May – 26 June.
Thursdays 10am – 1pm: 26 April to 26 June.
Fridays 9am – 12pm: 2 May – 30 May 2025.
