Joining Mansfield & District Potters (MAD Potters) is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in a lively and creative community! As a member, you’ll gain access to The Clay Stables, our friendly pottery studio where you can unleash your creativity and explore the art of pottery. Whether you’re a seasoned potter or just starting out, there’s something for everyone here.
You’ll have the chance to participate in workshops, collaborate with fellow pottery enthusiasts, and showcase your work at local events. Plus, it’s a great way to make new friends who share your passion for clay and creativity! So come and get your hands into some mud and make some beautiful pottery!

Membership Details
Membership Fee: The fee for the 2026/27 membership year is $60.
Age Requirement: Members must be 18 years or older.
Membership Duration: Your membership is valid for a full twelve months, from 1 July to 30 June, regardless of when you join during the year.
MAD Potters warmly welcomes members of all abilities! If you’re an NDIS participant and a MAD Potter member, your support workers are also welcome at The Clay Stables in their professional role — even if they’re not members themselves.

As a member of MAD Potters, you’ll enjoy a variety of benefits:
Free Studio Access during Hosted Sessions: Gain access to The Clay Stables during Hosted Sessions, which include a Safety & Etiquette induction.
Hosted Sessions: These sessions will be listed on our website and are subject to the availability of hosts.
Studio Host Opportunity: You can apply to become a Clay Stables Studio Host and have free access during all sessions. Find out more about becoming a Host.
Use of Equipment: Enjoy the use of studio equipment for both wheel throwing and handbuilding.
Studio Glazes: Access to a range of Mark Gambino studio glazes.
Firing Services: Benefit from firing services provided.
Discounts at Walker Ceramics – instructions on accessing your Walker Ceramics online account for purchases.
Event Invitations: Receive invitations to exhibition openings and other special events.
Sell your work at The Clay Stables: There are 3 designated areas for Members to set up a monthly stall in the Studio with a commission of only 10%. All sales go through our sales system. Member Responsibilities
By becoming a member, you agree to comply with our Policies, including our commitment to Childsafe legislation, our Privacy Policy, and our Organisation & Volunteers Code of Conduct.
Association Rules and Payment
Once we receive your completed membership form, we will send you an invoice for your membership fee. Please note that membership is contingent upon adherence to the MAD Potters Inc – Rules for an incorporated association
