The Clay Stables – Access & Equipment

Access to The Clay Stables

Only people who are paid up Members of MAD Potters have access to the Studio.

A Studio Host is entitled to attend any session at no cost during the month they volunteer 2 x 3 hour sessions.

Cost:

• Members: $20 per 3/hour session.
• Members with Concession Card: $10 per 3/hour session.
• Firing is $10kg for bisque & glaze firing – paid prior to firing. The Studio Host will collect payment.

All Members must complete a MAD Potters Safety & Studio Etiquette induction.

• The Clay Stables fires to bisque 1000C and 1280C Stoneware.
• Only clay purchased from MAD Potters will be fired unless by agreement with Studio Host.
• No clay or glazes that cannot be identified will be fired.
• The Studio uses Walkers White Stoneware PB103 for wheel and Walkers White Raku for handbuilding
